Generic AI dubbing tools (ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Synthesia) butcher theological vocabulary and use stock voices. Sermon Clips clones your pastor's actual voice and dubs full sermons into Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and 27+ more languages — with translation tuned for biblical content.
We've tested every major dubbing tool on actual sermons. Here's what breaks:
World-class voices, but no sermon-aware translation. 'Salvación' and 'arrepentimiento' are coin-flips. Built for marketing voiceover, not 45-minute biblical exposition.
Avatar-first product. Dubbing is fine for explainer videos but loses pastoral cadence. Pricing scales fast for weekly long-form sermons.
Enterprise corporate use case. No church integrations. Captions are generic, not styled for Reels/Shorts.
Free-tier limited, no voice cloning, basic TTS. Fine for announcement videos. Not credible for sermons.
All built for general video. None understand book-of-the-Bible references, theological vocabulary, or pastor-specific cadence.
None of these are bad tools — they're just not built for 45-minute theological content. Different jobs.
Four things we do that general-purpose dubbing tools don't.
Trained on biblical and pastoral vocabulary. Salvación, gracia, arrepentimiento, alabanza — these resolve correctly. Book-of-the-Bible names stay accurate (Levítico not Leviticus, Apocalipsis not Revelation).
Voice cloning trained on a short sample of your pastor's English audio. The Spanish dub matches their pitch, pace, warmth, and emphasis. It sounds like them, in Spanish.
Most AI dubbing tools were built for 60-second explainers. Ours handles full 45–90 minute sermons without quality drop, audio drift, or pacing artifacts.
Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, Haitian Creole, French, Arabic, Hindi and more. No per-language upcharge. Included on Starter and above.
Four steps. Once setup is done, every sermon is automatic from there.
Once. We use a clean 60-second clip of your pastor speaking English. That's all the training data we need.
Our system analyzes pitch contour, pace, breath patterns, and timbre. Takes about 5 minutes.
When you upload a sermon, the AI translates each clip into your target language(s) and resynthesizes it in your pastor's cloned voice.
Every clip comes out as a finished MP4 with the dubbed audio + burned-in target-language captions, ready for Reels/TikTok/Shorts.
No. Translation converts text from one language to another. Dubbing replaces the original audio with the translated text spoken in a voice. Sermon Clips does both: theology-aware translation followed by voice-cloned dubbing.
Yes. Voice cloning preserves pitch, pace, warmth, and emphasis. It will sound like your pastor — preaching in fluent Spanish. This is fundamentally different from text-to-speech, which uses a generic voice.
No. A clean 60-second clip from any existing English sermon works. Quiet room, decent microphone, no background music.
Free options exist (Canva, Kapwing free tiers) but they don't handle theological content well and don't include voice cloning. Sermon Clips at $39/month is the cheapest credible option for sermons specifically.
You can, but you'll spend significant time fixing theological vocabulary errors per clip. They're built for marketing/explainer content. For weekly sermon output, a sermon-aware tool saves hours per week and produces better results.
Yes. We support 30+ languages with full voice cloning into each. Spanish is the most-requested, then Portuguese, Korean, and Mandarin. Full list on the multilingual page.
A 45-minute sermon typically processes in 30–60 minutes including translation, voice cloning, and rendering. Upload Sunday afternoon, dubbed clips ready Monday morning.
Yes when consent is given. We require the church/pastor to authorize voice cloning of their own voice. We don't allow cloning of voices the user doesn't own. The ethical concern with voice cloning is fraud — that's not what's happening when a pastor clones their own voice for legitimate ministry use.
