Welcome to Sermon Clips. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Sermon Clips ("we," "us," "our") and govern your access to and use of our website, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, uploading content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the church, ministry, organization, or individual on whose behalf you are using the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Sermon Clips is a software-as-a-service platform that ingests sermon audio and video content you provide (whether by upload or by linking to a public source such as YouTube), uses artificial intelligence to identify and produce short-form clips, captions, translations, and related derivative content, and makes the resulting outputs available to you for download or publishing. Features, limits, and pricing tiers may change over time.
You must register an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Authentication is provided through our identity partner; by signing in you also agree to their applicable terms.
You agree not to: (a) upload content you do not have the rights to process; (b) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes any third-party right; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service; (d) resell, white-label, or sublicense the Service without written permission; or (e) use the Service to train competing machine-learning models. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
You retain all ownership rights in the sermons and other materials you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transcribe, translate, and create derivative clips from your Customer Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service for you. The clips and other outputs we deliver to you are yours to use, including for commercial and ministry purposes. We claim no ownership in your sermons or in the resulting clips.
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your account poses a security or operational risk. Upon termination we may delete your Customer Content after a reasonable retention period.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sermon Clips and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
